Job summary

Saint Luke's Hospital is seeking a results‑driven nurse leader to provide clinical supervision on a shift basis, coordinating patient care, admissions, discharges, and transfers. The role includes staffing coordination with the Director/Clinical Manager and serving as a mentor for staff performance reviews.

The ideal candidate has RN licensure in Texas with new or advancing certifications; BLS is required on hire, with other certifications as needed by the department.

Qualifications

• Must have active RN license in Texas.
• BLS required at hire; must obtain AHA BLS within 60 days.
• ACLS/TNCC, PALS, NRP, STABLE, Fetal Monitoring, and Non- Violent Crisis Intervention may be required depending on department.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise patient care on shift.
• Act as unit patient flow coordinator for admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Assist in staffing preparation for the next shift with leadership.
• Provide supervisory input into staff evaluations and performance reviews.
