You will lead by example, communicate effectively in 1:1 and group settings, and handle tough conversations to maintain clinical excellence and patient safety across shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (required).
• Two (2) years of clinical experience as a registered nurse.
• Registered Nurse: CA license (CA).
• BLS from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• ACLS from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing staff assigned to a particular shift. Assigns patients to available nursing staff, considering patient condition and staff skill level.
• Assesses, monitors, and educates the nursing staff on patient care; institutes emergency procedures as necessary.
• Anticipates staffing needs and moves proactively to respond to them.
• Oversees stocking of supplies and updating patient records to ensure the nursing floor is ready for subsequent shifts.

Education

Associate's Degree in Nursing

Two (2) years of clinical experience as a registered nurse
