Job summary

As our Nurse Shift Manager at Northridge Hospital Medical Center, you will lead the nursing team with a focus on safe, patient-centered care during your assigned shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience as a registered nurse.
• Current and Active Registered Nurse license: CA.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• AHA Neonatal Resuscitation Program.
• Fire Safety training within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing staff assigned to a shift and assigns patients based on condition and staff skill.
• Assesses, monitors, and educates nursing staff on patient care; institutes emergency procedures as needed.
• Oversees staffing needs, resource allocation, supplies, and accurate documentation for seamless shift transitions.
