Qualifications

  • Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience as a registered nurse.
  • Current and Active Registered Nurse license: CA.
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • AHA Neonatal Resuscitation Program.
  • Fire Safety training within 90 days.

  • Assesses, monitors, and educates nursing staff on patient care; institutes emergency procedures as needed.

You will lead the unit’s nursing operations during your assigned shift, overseeing care delivery and coordinating the efforts of the nursing team. You will be responsible for acuity-based patient assignments, matching care needs with staff expertise to ensure optimal outcomes. Acting as a proactive shift lead, you will manage resource allocation, oversee supply levels, and ensure precise documentation to guarantee a seamless transition between shifts.

  • Oversees stocking of supplies and updating patient records to ensure that the nursing floor is ready for subsequent shifts.
