Responsibilities
Position Summary:

Plans the overall nursing care and functions in a particular nursing unit during an assigned shift. Supervises nursing staff, assigns patients considering their condition and skill level, anticipates staffing needs, and oversees supply stocking and patient record updates to ensure readiness for subsequent shifts.

Principal Duties and Accountabilities:
  • Supervises nursing staff assigned to a shift, assigning patients based on condition and skill level.
  • Assesses, monitors, and educates staff on patient care; institutes emergency procedures as necessary.
  • Anticipates staffing needs and responds proactively.
  • Oversees stocking of supplies and updates patient records for shift readiness.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (e.g., ADN)
  • Minimum of two (2) years of clinical RN experience
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Other credentials or modules may be required
Pay Range

$57.41 - $78.72 /hour
