Job summary

Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers in Visalia, CA is hiring a part-time Registered Nurse (LVN/RN). You will provide perioperative nursing care in the recovery and post-anesthesia periods, monitor patients, and document status to the care team.

You must hold an active LVN license (or RN), graduate from an accredited nursing program, and have BLS; ACLS/PALS within 60 days. The role offers a collaborative, mission-driven environment with competitive hourly pay and 401k benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation

About You

YOU WILL

• Perform nursing care for the patient in the immediate postoperative/post anesthesia period
• Assess and document patient’s status upon arrival in the recovery room
• Provide nursing care to meet patient needs related to surgical condition and type of anesthesia administered
• Monitoring patient and informing dentist or anesthetist of observed complications

YOU HAVE

Requirements + Qualifications

• Current State License to practice as an LVN
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Knowledge regarding the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hireCurrent Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (within 60 days of hire)

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• Previous experience in ICU or perioperative nursing experience
