Job summary

Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers in Milwaukee is looking for a passionate Registered Nurse to join our talented team. This part-time role focuses on providing excellent immediate postoperative care in an ASC environment, contributing to a collaborative clinical team culture.

The ideal candidate will possess a current RN license and relevant experience, and will be committed to delivering compassionate care to pediatric patients. We offer a supportive work environment with no weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Knowledge regarding the nursing process and its application.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care for the patient in the immediate postoperative/post anesthesia period.
• Assess and document patient’s status upon arrival in the recovery room.
• Provide nursing care to meet patient needs related to surgical condition.

Skills

Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse

Current Basic Life Support (BLS)

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Knowledge of nursing process

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

About You

You have an exceptional work ethic, positive attitude, and strong commitment to providing excellent care to our patients. You enjoy working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, and you desire to contribute to a strong culture where the entire team works together for the good of each patient.

YOU WILL

• Perform nursing care for the patient in the immediate postoperative/post anesthesia period
• Assess and document patient’s status upon arrival in the recovery room
• Provide nursing care to meet patient needs related to surgical condition and type of anesthesia administered
• Monitoring patient and informing dentist or anesthetist of observed complications

YOU HAVE

• Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Knowledge regarding the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (within 60 days of hire)

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing
• Previous experience in ICU or perioperative nursing experience
