Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers in Bakersfield, California, is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care for our pediatric patients in a surgery center environment. You will be part of a dedicated team, ensuring safe recovery after surgery.

Qualifications

About You

You have an exceptional work ethic, positive attitude, and strong commitment to providing excellent care to our patients. You enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and you desire to contribute to a strong culture where the entire team works together for the good of each patient.

Responsibilities (YOU WILL)

Perform nursing care for the patient in the immediate postoperative/post anesthesia period
Assess and document patient’s status upon arrival in the recovery room
Provide nursing care to meet patient needs related to surgical condition and type of anesthesia administered
Monitor patient and inform dentist or anesthetist of observed complications

Requirements & Qualifications (YOU HAVE)

Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Knowledge regarding the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (within 60 days of hire)

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in nursing
Previous experience in NICU, ER, PACU, or perioperative nursing experience
We are looking for experienced nurses only - no new grads for this role
