Job summary

Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers in Bridgeton, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time position across our ASC network. You will provide care in the immediate postoperative and post-anesthesia period, assess patients on arrival to the recovery area, and support anesthesia and dental teams to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

The role requires Missouri RN licensure, graduation from an accredited nursing program, BLS, ACLS and PALS within 60 days, and a patient-centered,

Qualifications

• Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Knowledge of the nursing process and its application.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire.
• Current ACLS and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care for the patient in the immediate postoperative/post anesthesia period.
• Assess and document patient’s status upon arrival in the recovery room.
• Provide nursing care to meet patient needs related to surgical condition and type of anesthesia administered.
• Monitor patient and inform dentist or anesthetist of observed complications.

YOU WILL

YOU HAVE

Requirements + Qualifications

• Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Knowledge regarding the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (within 60 days of hire)

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• Previous experience in ICU or perioperative nursing experience
