Job summary

Freedom Plaza in Sun City Center, FL is seeking a hospitality-focused RN or LPN to provide direct nursing care to residents in our skilled nursing facility. This part-time role runs 7a–3p, including weekends, with compensation up to $38 per hour depending on experience and licensure.

You will perform ADL support, monitor resident conditions, develop care plans, coordinate with the health services team, and ensure high-quality, person-centered care in a beautiful retirement community.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license valid in the state worked.
• Experience in skilled nursing settings is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Willingness to be available for emergencies and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living and promote independent living.
• Identify medical/behavioral changes and monitor care plans with re-assessments.
• Provide daily reports to Health Services on conditions and needs.
• Administer nursing care per physician orders and standards.
• Coordinate nursing care with other disciplines.

Freedom Plaza is recruiting for a hospitality focused RN or LPN to join our team! This position provides direct nursing care to residents in skilled nursing.

Skilled Nursing Facility

Must have experience in skilled nursing.

Part Time 7a-3p, including weekends.

Wage up to $38 per hour, depending on experience and licensure.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of an RN or LPN:

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), family/social activities and actively promote independent life-style of residents.
• Responsible for identification of resident medical and behavioral changes and the development and monitoring of care plans and re-assessment of each resident.
• Provide daily report to the Director of Health Services concerning community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and needs for nursing supplies.
• Provide nursing care according to physician's orders and in conformance with recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
• Ensure preventative, therapeutic and rehabilitative services to residents and assists in the coordination of nursing care with care rendered by other disciplines.
