Job summary

Freedom Plaza in Sun City Center, FL is recruiting a hospitality focused RN or LPN to provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting.

This PRN night shift (11p-7a) offers pay up to $38 per hour depending on experience and licensure, with generous benefits including 401k and Daily Pay. Join a team that values compassionate care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license valid in state worked.
• Willingness to be available for emergencies regarding the community.
• Experience in skilled nursing.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs and promote independence.
• Identify resident medical/behavior changes and help develop and monitor care plans.
• Provide daily reports to the Director of Health Services on conditions and needs for nursing supplies.
• Provide nursing care per physician orders and established standards.
• Coordinate nursing care with other disciplines for holistic resident care.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of an RN or LPN:

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), family/social activities and actively promote independent life-style of residents.
• Responsible for identification of resident medical and behavioral changes and the development and monitoring of care plans and re-assessment of each resident.
• Provide daily report to the Director of Health Services concerning community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and needs for nursing supplies.
• Provide nursing care according to physician’s orders and in conformance with recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
• Ensure preventative, therapeutic and rehabilitative services to residents and assists in the coordination of nursing care with care rendered by other disciplines.
