Elliott Nursing & Rehab is seeking Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses for a Night Shift with a $7,500 sign-on bonus. Join a care team dedicated to excellent healthcare through listening, empathy, accountability, and decisiveness.

RNs and LPNs supervise CNAs and provide skilled nursing services on a designated unit, following physicians’ orders and safety regulations. Benefits include daily pay and other nurse-friendly incentives.

Formación

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN or LPN in the state employed; license must be active, valid, and in good standing.
• CPR certification preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Initiate and lead nursing care plans and team conferences.
• Assess and document residents' condition and nursing needs.
• Implement physicians' orders accurately and promptly.
• Administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments per regulations.
• Participate in orientation and in-service training for personnel.
• Assist physicians with tests and procedures within state Nursing Practice Act.
• Report and record pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents.
• Coordinate nursing care during therapy or procedures by other departments.
• Assist with emergency measures for sudden adverse developments.

Position Overview:

Elliott Nurses render skilled technical nursing services to residents within an assigned unit/wing in support of medical care as directed by the nursing management team; supervises CNAs to ensure a high quality of care is provided to all residents in that unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Initiate and lead team conferences in development of individualized nursing care plans.

• Assess and document the residents’ condition and nursing needs.

• Accurately and promptly implement physicians’ orders.

• Administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments for assigned residents and document that treatment as required by Majestic Care and local, state, and federal rules and regulations.

• Participate in orientation and in-service training for personnel.

• Assist physicians with special tests and procedures within the scope of state specified Nursing Practice Act.

• Report and record pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents.

• Coordinate nursing care of residents when scheduled for therapy or procedures by other departments.

• Assist with or institute emergency measures for sudden adverse developments in residents.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.

• Licensed as an RN or LPN in the state employed; license must be active, valid, and in good standing.

• Valid CPR teaching certificate preferred but not required.
