Job summary

Elliott Nursing & Rehab is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for night shift with a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Join a team dedicated to compassionate, high-quality care and support for residents.

Responsibilities include care planning, medication administration, and collaboration with physicians and CNAs to ensure excellent resident outcomes. Active state license required; CPR certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN or LPN in the state employed; license must be active, valid, and in good standing.
• CPR certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and lead team conferences in development of individualized nursing care plans.
• Assess and document residents’ condition and nursing needs.
• Implement physicians’ orders accurately and promptly.
• Administer medications, start IVs, and document treatments per rules and regulations.
• Participate in orientation and in-service training for personnel.
• Assist physicians with tests and procedures within the Nursing Practice Act.
• Record pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents.
• Coordinate nursing care when residents are scheduled for therapy or procedures.
• Assist with or institute emergency measures for sudden adverse developments.
