Murray Woods is hiring Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses for the 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. shift. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN or LPN license in practicing state.
• Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in accordance with RN or LPN license, scope of practice, regulations, and facility policies.
• Direct and support certified nursing assistants and other nursing personnel.
• Follow the nursing model to promote holistic, resident-focused care.
• Ensure assigned nursing personnel follow established policies and procedures.
• Participate in resident admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and complete assessments as permitted by licensure.
• Notify the physician, nursing leadership, and the resident’s family or representative of significant changes and document them appropriately.
• Transcribe and carry out physician orders as permitted by licensure.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Communicate with residents, families, physicians, CNAs, and other members of the care team.
