Job summary

Daymark Recovery Services is seeking qualified nurses to provide nursing services at the Facility Based Crisis Centers. The team supports children ages 6 through 17, delivering essential medical and psychosocial care as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.

RNs complete a 4-year nursing program and hold licensure; LPNS complete an accredited nursing program with license. Strong crisis response and collaboration skills are valued in this dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• RN licensed with a four-year nursing program completion.
• LPN licensed with an accredited nursing program.
• Experience in psychiatric nursing or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides medication evaluation and checks, calls in prescriptions, conducts health assessments.
• Communicates with MD/NP/PA for orders and may provide individual or group therapy and paperwork.
• Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning and case support activities.
• Provides crisis intervention consultation to team members.
• Participates in peer review and performs other duties as assigned.

RN: $35/hr - $40/hr. LPN: $27-$30/hr.

Summary

Provides nursing services to the Facility Based Crisis centers. Our nurses and med techs are a vital part of our treatment team providing critical support to children ages 6 through 17.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides medication evaluation, medication checks, calls in prescriptions, physical health assessment/screening, communicates with MD/NP/PA for orders, obtains samples, may provide individual, group therapy and subsequent paperwork.
• Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning, case support activities.
• Provides crisis intervention consultation to all members of the team.
• Participates in peer review process.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Special Attributes

Strong psychosocial, clinical assessment skills. Position requires minimal supervision regarding use of time, able to prioritize work assignments. Must possess ability to communicate effectively with professions and clients/families and have ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations.

Supervisory Responsibilities

May provide supervision as directed.

Experience
