Job summary

Lifepoint Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Risk Management Manager for Highpoint Health Winchester with Ascension Saint Thomas, part of our network. The role leads daily department operations, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports staff development in a fast-paced care setting.

Ideal candidates hold an active Tennessee RN license, a nursing degree (BSN preferred), and have strong critical thinking with the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Active Tennessee RN license (single-state or compact).
• Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited school; Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Manages the daily operations of the assigned department or function to align with objectives.
• Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives supporting the organization’s strategic plan.
• Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management.
• Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
• Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts, and vendor relations.
• Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment purchases, monitors usage, and stock supplies.
• Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
• Ensures department stays focused on their important role in the continuum of care.
