Job summary

VA Black Hills Health Care System is seeking a Community Living Center Restorative Coordinator Registered Nurse to lead restorative nursing care and guide Veterans toward maximizing independence. You will assess, enroll, set measurable goals, monitor progress, and collaborate with PT/OT teams while mentoring staff.

The role emphasizes coordination of care from admission through ongoing evaluation and offers the VA Nurse Total Rewards package and EDRP eligibility.

Qualifications

• English proficiency required for direct patient care roles.
• BSN or equivalent nursing degree with active US license.
• Foreign-educated nurses require credential validation.
• Must meet VA nurse qualification standards and licensure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Make a lasting impact on Veterans' independence and quality of life as a Restorative Coordinator RN.
• Coordinate restorative care with therapy and nursing teams.
• Develop and implement measurable functional goals for Veterans.
• Monitor progress monthly and adjust care plans as needed.
• Mentor staff and provide education to strengthen restorative nursing skills.
