Job summary

Mercy Hospital – W Memorial Rd seeks a Nights, Full Time RN for the Obstetrics and Mother Baby unit. This fast-paced team delivers Well Newborn Care and supports labor, birth, and postpartum services.

The unit features 40-MB rooms, 15-LDR rooms, 14-High Risk Antepartum, 8-bed OBED, and 4-LIBC Birthing Suites. Nurses may float between departments as patient needs dictate; tuition support and comprehensive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Licensure: Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact license.
• Physical requirements: Ability to push/pull/lift 50 pounds; prolonged standing/walking; other mobility.
• Certifications: BLS or obtainment within 30 days; additional unit certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Float between Labor & Birth, Antepartum, and OB Emergency Department based on patient care needs.
• Maintain competencies in Labor & Birth, Antepartum, and OB Emergency Department.
• Provide high‑quality patient care in a fast paced obstetrics environment.
