Job summary

Mercy Hospital is seeking a dedicated RN for the Labor & Birth unit (Nights) at Mercy Hospital - W Memorial Rd. The role involves high-energy obstetrics care, Well Newborn, and post‑operative maternity services, with 36 hours weekly across night shifts.

Applicants must graduate from an accredited RN program, hold an active RN license in Oklahoma (or a compact state), and have BLS certification. Excellent teamwork and physical stamina are required to support high-acuity obstetric care.

Qualifications

• RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure
• Basic Life Support certification (AHA) or within 30 days of hire
• Physical requirements: push/pull/lift 50 pounds, stand and walk long shifts

Responsibilities

• Provide care in Obstetrics, Labor & Birth, Well Newborn Care, and Post Women’s Surgical unit.
• Maintain competencies and float between departments as needed by patient care.
• Collaborate with Lactation Consultants and Mercy OKC teams to ensure comprehensive care.
