Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Graduate Resident Nurse for an entry-level role on a high-acuity 38-bed inpatient unit. You will participate in a year-long Nurse Residency, learn under supervision, and provide direct patient care in Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, and Trauma care with a commitment to teamwork and safety.

The position offers rotating day/night schedules, comprehensive orientation, and opportunities for professional growth within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved and/or accredited School of Nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current license to practice professional nursing from the Massachusetts Board of Registration; NCLEX registration documentation when eligible.
• 0-1 years related work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and treatments while coordinating care.
• Develops a culturally competent plan of care identifying patient problems and outcomes.
• Maintains patient safety and quality of care through adherence to policies and units.
• Demonstrates professional behavior and communication with patients, families and colleagues.
