Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. The RN will work with the Care Team to provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care, collaborate with health professionals, educate patients, and advocate for patients and families across the care continuum.

The role emphasizes care planning, education, discharge planning, and participation in quality improvement while upholding hospital goals and patient safety standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program is required.
• Massachusetts RN license is required.
• Baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certificate required.
• ACLS certification required for some units.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and makes nursing judgments.
• Assesses health care needs for care planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Coordinates patient care and directs support staff for safe, efficient, patient-centered care.
• Educates patients and families; participates in discharge planning and education.
• Maintains professional growth and participates in quality improvement activities.
