Job Summary & Qualifications

The Nurse Residency Program prepares new nurses with clinical training, educational sessions, preceptorship, simulations, mentoring, and evidence-based projects. As an RN Resident, you will provide patient-centered care, collaborate with medical teams, and serve as an advocate for patients and families.

Responsibilities include:

• Assessing patient conditions and reporting changes
• Performing procedures and documenting care
• Administering medications and monitoring responses
• Responding promptly to patient requests
• Educating patients and families about medical conditions and treatments

Qualifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 1 year
• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• RN License or Graduate Nurse status in the state
• No prior experience required
• Some travel may be needed for training
