Job summary

OU Medicine seeks a Clinical Nurse Educator - Transition to Practice to lead the Nurse Residency Program and drive clinical orientation and ongoing professional development. You will identify educational needs, develop curricula, and report outcomes, partnering with OU Health leaders to improve staff competency and retention.

This role emphasizes change leadership, mentorship, and collaboration across nursing and allied departments to advance educational initiatives and patient care excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN or higher preferred.
• Current RN license in Oklahoma or compact.
• NPD-BC certification preferred.
• Experience with nursing students/new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Lead Nurse Residency Program and clinical orientation.
• Identify and prioritize educational needs; develop curricula.
• Collaborate with OU Health leaders to meet learning goals.
• Evaluate program outcomes and report results.
