Job summary

Wayne HealthCare in Greenville, OH seeks a Nurse Resident Coordinator to design, implement and evaluate education for newly graduated or transitioning RNs. The role leads Nurse Residency programs and teaches a range of clinical and competency topics, with a focus on evidence-based practice and learner development.

The position is full-time with varied hours, primarily dayshift, and requires Ohio RN licensure, BSN, and BLS/ACLS certification.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed to practice in the State of Ohio.
• BSN required, MSN preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS & ACLS Provider certification required.
• BLS AHA Instructor preferred.
• ACLS AHA Instructor preferred.
• Three years of nursing experience required. One year of teaching experience preferred.
• One year of clinical education experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Instructor of Nurse Residency (Transition to Practice) programs including: New Graduate RN Residency, Fellowship, Graduating Student Nurse Associate program.
• POCT/Glucometer Instructor.
• PAPR Instructor.
• Aseptic Instructor.
• ECG Instructor.
• Provides annual education and competency testing.
• Comprehensive current knowledge of nursing and health practices.
• Advocacy for evidence-based practice integration.
• Ability to work well one-on-one or in groups.
• Maintains all required qualifications for area assigned.
• Act as liaison with local colleges and universities.
