Orlando Health, Inc. is recruiting a Nurse Resident for Acute Care on the Night shift at Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg. The role targets RNs with less than one year of experience, providing structured residency, preceptorship, and monthly training to transition into independent practice.

You will work in a high-acuity neuro/medical-surgical setting, focusing on patient-centered care, safety, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Competenze

• Nursing school graduate.
• Licensed RN in Florida or NLC multistate license.
• Maintains current BLS certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC required for certain areas; NICU requires NRP.

Mansioni

• Administers bedside patient care under supervision of a preceptor or charge nurse.
• Assesses patient needs and updates care plans; evaluates progress toward outcomes.
• Collaborates with medical staff and interdisciplinary team on planning and management.
• Demonstrates competency in nursing skills and use of care/unit equipment.
• Documents patient care per standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participates in Nurse Residency Program and supports new staff development.
