Job summary

Piedmont HealthCare in Cartersville, GA, offers a 12-month Nurse Residency program beginning February 2027 to transition from student to professional nurse through education, mentorship and blended learning experiences.

Residents will develop clinical judgment, communication skills, and cohort experiences across Acute Care, Critical Care, Emergency Department, Women’s Services and more, with dedicated preceptors and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program (required).
• New Graduates eligible to apply.
• Current Georgia RN license required (by law).
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle.
• Coordinate patient care activities and ensure quality nursing care.
• Demonstrate leadership, accountability and professional growth.
• Maintain standards of practice and coordinate care with assigned staff.
