Job summary

Piedmont HealthCare in Georgia offers a 12-month Nurse Residency program for new graduate nurses, beginning February/March 2027. The program blends precepted orientation with blended learning, mentorship, and peer support to prepare you for safe, high-quality care.

Nurse residents will build clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork, with opportunities across Acute Care, Critical Care, Emergency, Women’s Services, Cardiovascular, Surgical Services, Transplant, and more.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New graduates eligible for the Nurse Residency program.
• Current Georgia RN license with BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients across the lifecycle.
• Coordinate patient care activities with the care team.
• Uphold standards of practice and professional accountability.
• Demonstrate leadership and effective communication with colleagues and patients.
