Job summary

Advantia Health is seeking a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner to join our practices in Frederick, MD and nearby areas. The role emphasizes strong GYN and antepartum/intrapartum/postpartum experience across diverse patient populations.

You will perform exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, prescribe medications, develop patient-management policies, and coordinate referrals with the care team. Maryland WHNP licensure is preferred, with RN licensure and a BLS certification required.

Qualifications

• MS degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Maryland WHNP licensure preferred.
• Maryland RN licensure preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• DEA and CDS eligible.
• 1+ year of women’s health experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients.

Simmonds, Martin & Helmbrecht of Advantia Health is looking for a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) to join our practices in Frederick, Gaithersburg, Rockville, and Damascus, MD. We are seeking a WHNP with solid GYN experience as well as antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum experience that includes patients with varying medical conditions (diabetes, hypertension, etc.)

Job Responsibilities:

• Master of Science degree with completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program required
• Current state licensure as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (Maryland preferred)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (Maryland preferred)
• Current BLS certification or obtained prior to providing direct patient care is required
• DEA and CDS eligible
• 1+ years’ experience working in the women’s health field.
