Job summary

VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System is recruiting for a Nurse Practitioner (Compensation & Pension) who will function in the Primary Care Service. The role involves delivering comprehensive, compassionate care to a defined patient panel and performing history, exam, labs, and diagnostic orders as part of routine primary care.

Responsibilities include managing C&P-related examinations and Environmental Health/ MEE assessments with workload from VBA, ensuring exams are scheduled promptly and cases

Qualifications

• High level of medical knowledge and ability to provide comprehensive and compassionate care for those who served.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with input into clinic development projects.
• Provide comprehensive primary care services to a defined panel of patients.

Responsibilities

• History taking, physical examination, and ordering labs and diagnostic studies.
• Formulation of treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions within medicine practice.
• C&P workload drawn from VBA and cross-training for Environmental Health and MEE exams.
• Exams scheduled within 20 days from VBA receipt and cases returned to VBA within 30 days.
