Job summary

The VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System seeks a Nurse Practitioner (Compensation & Pension) to deliver comprehensive primary care within the Primary Care Service for Veterans. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensed and board-certified Nurse Practitioner with APRN credentials.
• Experience delivering primary care and managing common acute/chronic conditions.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and coordinate care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to a defined patient panel.
• Perform history taking and physical examinations; order labs and diagnostics.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions.
• Participate in Compensation & Pension, Environmental Health, and MEE assessments.
• Triage VBA requests; ensure exams and paperwork meet timelines.
