U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Northeast Ohio Healthcare System seeks a Nurse Practitioner (Compensation & Pension) to provide comprehensive primary care within the Primary Care Service.

The role supports C&P exams and related environmental health duties for veterans' disability claims. Responsibilities include history taking, exams, ordering labs, and developing treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions; occasional cross-training as EH/MEE examiner with adherence to VBA

• Provide comprehensive primary care and compassionate service to veterans.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to a defined panel of patients.
• History taking, physical examination, ordering labs and diagnostic studies; formulating treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions.
• Exams include C&P DBQ and ACE; cross-train as Environmental Health and MEE examiner.
• C&P workload sourced from VBA with strict timelines for exams and return of cases.
