Our client is looking for Nurse Practitioners to join our Urgent Care Team!
Position Type: Direct-Hire / Full-Time

Job Summary
- The Nurse Practitioner will be part of the client's growing medical professionals team.
- Your primary responsibility will be to provide advanced primary and/or specialty care to our patients.
- Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing physical exams, recording patient medical history, creating care plans, and administering diagnostic tests.

- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses, independently or as part of a healthcare team.
- Provide a wide variety of clinical services including treatment of conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains, and minor infections.
- Treat minor injuries that may require sutures, splints, or casting.
- Assess and recognize more serious conditions and direct patients to the emergency room for advanced care when necessary.
- Ensure fulfillment of the client's commitment to quality care.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of diseases in general practice.
- Collect, record, and maintain accurate patient information.
- Document items such as past medical, family, and social history, review of systems, examinations, medications, allergies, assessment, and plan.
- Order or execute various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on the patient's condition.
- Analyze reports and findings of tests and examinations to diagnose conditions.
- Administer or prescribe treatments.
- Order lab and imaging tests to determine and manage immediate treatment plans.
- Vaccinate patients to immunize them from communicable diseases.
- Advise patients on diet, hygiene, and methods for disease prevention.
- Consult with appropriate medical specialists when necessary; refer patients to subspecialists within the network.
Qualifications/Job Requirements
- Master's Degree in a Nurse Practitioner Program: Family.
- At least 3 years of experience with acute care (RN, UC, ICU, critical care) preferred.
- Current New York State License as a Nurse Practitioner.
- National Board Certification required (AANP or ANCC).
- Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is a plus.
- EMR/EHR experience is a plus.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Salary: $135,000 - $150,000
