Qualifications

• Licensed as Nurse Practitioner in state of employment.
• Advanced degree in an accredited NP program.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical care to inmates, including exams and chronic care.
• Maintains SOAP progress notes and adheres to formulary guidelines.
• Responds to emergencies and makes decisions on non-formulary drugs or referrals.
• Supports policies for admissions, transfers, and referrals.
• Maintains confidentiality and participates in facility committees.
