Job summary

MDB Health Services in Arkansas seeks a Wound Care/Foot Care Team Lead to steer wound care strategy, education, scheduling and oversight. The role partners with interdisciplinary teams to ensure evidence-based treatment and regulatory compliance for residents across multiple LTC facilities.

You will lead clinical mentorship, supervise wound/foot care providers, and coordinate coverage while liaising with facilities and vendors to maintain high-quality care and compliance.

Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner in Arkansas (required).
• CWCN, CWS, or equivalent certification (preferred).
• 2 years’ experience in wound/foot management, with at least 2 years in leadership/admin roles (preferred).
• In-depth knowledge of long-term care regulations and standards.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement wound care/foot care protocols and treatment plans.
• Provide oversight for wound care/foot care providers across multiple facilities.
• Offer clinical mentorship and guidance to enhance skill development and team confidence.
• Lead chart reviews and facility inspections to ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality care.
• Serve as a liaison for providers, facilities and vendors.
• Staff scheduling & allocation to ensure adequate wound care/foot care coverage across sites.

Role Summary

The Wound Care/Foot Care Team Lead will lead wound care strategy, education, scheduling and oversight. This individual will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure evidence-based treatment, regulatory compliance, and optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
