Job summary

Your Health Organization is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to serve the Sumter area, delivering primary and acute care in homes, ALFs, ILFs, and clinics. You will collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to assess, diagnose, and treat patients while developing individualized care plans.

Qualified candidates hold an SC NP license or higher, with a relevant specialty certification. Expect a salary-based role with potential monthly bonuses and a full-time schedule across multiple service

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in SC.
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in a specialty area.
• 2 years of experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Proficiency in EMR systems and healthcare technology.
• CPR certification and other relevant certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing care to patients within your scope of practice.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients in various settings such as homes, clinics, or facilities.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

This is a salary-based position, with the opportunity to receive a monthly bonus. This is a full-time with the following schedule(s) and service area(s) available.

The following shift(s) are available:

• 12-hour shift (working 7 days on 7 days off)
• 8-hour shift (Monday-Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm)

What Are We Looking For?

Your Health is currently looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join our growing urgent care family. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide advanced nursing care to patients within your scope of practice. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat patients in various settings, such as hospitals, clinics, or private practices. A successful Nurse Practitioner should be able to conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests. Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications, therapies, and other interventions. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and preventive care. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and referrals. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in SC
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in [specialty area] (e.g., Family, Adult-Gerontology, Pediatrics, etc.).
• 2 years of experience working as a Nurse Practitioner preferred but not required.
• Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other healthcare technology.
• Commitment to professional development and lifelong learning.
• CPR certification and other relevant certifications as required.
