Job summary

Novant Health Urgent Care is seeking a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner to join our Sumter urgent care team. The provider will work with patient services staff, nurses, and support personnel to treat diverse populations ages 6 months and up.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree (NP-FNP or PA), active SC licensure, DEA and DOT certification, and have 2+ years of family practice or urgent care experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in either Nurse Practitioner (Family NP) or Physician Assistant
• Active SC licensure
• Active DEA and SC Controlled Substance
• DOT Certification
• 2+ years of experience in family practice or urgent care
• Willing to work 12-hour shifts and weekends
• Willing to work at other centers as needed
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care as PA or NP in urgent care
• Collaborate with patient services representatives, nurses, medical assistants, and x-ray techs
• Serve patients ages 6 months and older
• Participate in a flexible schedule including weekends and multiple centers as needed
