Job summary

Your Health Organization in South Carolina is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to deliver advanced nursing care for patients in the Sumter area, including homes and facilities. You will assess, diagnose, and treat, and coordinate with physicians to ensure comprehensive care. Excellent communication and EMR proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in SC.
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the designated specialty area.
• 2 years of experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and healthcare technology.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
• CPR certification and other relevant certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing care within scope of practice in diverse settings (homes, clinics, hospitals).
• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients; develop and implement treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and therapies; monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and preventive care.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Education

Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing

Current SC NP license

This is a salary-based position, with the opportunity to receive a monthly bonus. This is a full-time with the following schedule(s) and service area(s) available.

The following shift(s) are available:

• 12-hour shift (working 7 days on 7 days off)
• 8-hour shift (Monday-Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm)

What Are We Looking For?

Your Health is currently looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join our growing urgent care family. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide advanced nursing care to patients within your scope of practice. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat patients in various settings, such as hospitals, clinics, or private practices. A successful Nurse Practitioner should be able to conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests. Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications, therapies, and other interventions. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and preventive care. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and referrals. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
