Responsibilities include planning and evaluating care, prescribing when appropriate, and referring to other providers as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing or completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• At least 2 years of Nurse Practitioner experience.
• Indiana RN license required by hire.
• Prescriptive authority may be required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Takes health history and conducts assessment including physical examination.
• Plans and evaluates care including pharmacological therapies and referrals.
• Collaborates with health center staff to coordinate pediatric care.
• Maintains accurate, confidential patient records.
• Participates in teaching and mentoring of nursing staff and students.
