Job summary

The role emphasizes collaboration with campus partners, supervision of peer educators, and data-driven evaluation to guide program decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mental health, social work, student affairs, health education, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in related field.
• Experience in higher education or campus-based settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and coordinates the planning, implementation, and evaluation of health promotion initiatives at Indiana University Bloomington.
• Develops educational programming, campaigns, workshops, and health-focused media.
• Advances population-level prevention strategies to improve student success.
• Designs, implements, and evaluates trauma-informed, evidence-informed programs.
• Collaborates with campus partners to advance a coordinated health promotion approach.
• Trains and supervises peer health educators and student interns.
• Uses data to identify priority populations and tailor programs.
• Develops educational materials and digital content using health communication frameworks.
• Ensures health education is broadly accessible across campus.
• Advocates for campus policies and environmental strategies.
• Develops partnerships with internal and external campus partners.
• Delivers engaging presentations and workshops.
• Maintains records, evaluation plans, and impact reports.
