Indiana University Bloomington is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner for the IU Health Center within the Office of Student Life. This in-person role supports pediatric and student health services, conducts comprehensive exams, orders tests, and collaborates with physicians and nurses to plan care for IU students.

You will provide health promotion, manage referrals, maintain patient records, and participate in teaching and research activities.

Competenze

• Master's degree in nursing or completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• 2 years of Nurse Practitioner experience.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the State of Indiana upon date of hire.
• Board certification may be required for some positions.
• Advance practice registered nurse licensure may be required for some positions.
• Prescriptive authority may be required for some positions within 90 days of hire.
• DEA license and liability insurance may be required for some positions within 90 days of hire.

Mansioni

• Takes relevant health history of patient concerns. Conducts appropriate assessment including physical examination and history.
• Plans, implements and evaluates care including diagnostic testing and patient education.
• Collaborates with attending physician, social worker, nurses, and other health team members to plan and coordinate care.
• Maintains patient records with accurate documentation and confidentiality.
• Performs other related duties incidental to the work described.
