Job summary
Akido Labs, Inc. is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Street Medicine team in Kern County. This in-person role combines hands-on field care with AI-driven tools to redefine care delivery for homeless and other vulnerable populations across California.
You will assess patients in the field, develop care plans, and work under physician supervision while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to improve health outcomes. A CA NP license and related certifications are required.
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted California NP certificate by hire
- Nurse Practitioner Furnishing Number (California) required
- Nurse Practitioner National Certificate
- Registered Nurse License (California)
Responsibilities
- Provide frontline care to vulnerable populations in the field.
- Manage diverse patient panels with acute, chronic and preventive care.
- Conduct assessments, histories, exams, order/interpret diagnostics and prescribe under supervision.
- Collaborate with supervising physician and multidisciplinary team.
- Document encounters for continuity of care.
