Job summary

Comprehensive Pain and Spine Specialists, LLC in Indiana seeks a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our high-volume pain management team. You will conduct patient assessments, develop care plans with physicians, and provide evidence-based therapies aimed at improving comfort and function.

The ideal candidate is board-certified, licensed as an APN with prescriptive authority, and experienced in pain or spine care.

Qualifications

  • Pain or spine experience preferred.
  • Licensed as APN, Prescriptive Authority, DEA, CSR.
  • Licensed to practice in Indiana.
  • Not Excluded from Medicare or Medicaid.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent multi-tasking, organizational and computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical exams.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans with physicians and other healthcare personnel.
  • Interpret diagnostic tests and follow up with appropriate actions or referrals.
  • Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation in patient records.
  • Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on medical advancements and regulatory changes.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and develop care strategies.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team. This individual will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality medical services. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, demonstrate impeccable judgement, and have a genuine commitment to improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including taking medical histories and conducting physical examinations.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare personnel.
  • Interpret diagnostic tests, results, and follow up with appropriate actions or referrals.
  • Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation in patient records.

Qualifications:
  • Pain or spine experience preferred
  • Board Certified
  • A graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • License(s): APN, Prescriptive Authority, DEA, CSR
  • Not Excluded from Medicare or Medicaid
  • Licensed to practice in the State of Indiana.
  • Previous experience preferred, pain management and/or medication management preferred
  • Strong clinical background, with a focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have excellent multi-tasking, organizational and computer skills
