Job summary

The Little Clinic is seeking a qualified Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to deliver high quality medical care in a retail clinic setting. You will build patient relationships, collaborate with store staff and healthcare partners, and uphold our values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Responsibilities include maintaining clinic operations, participating in quality assurance, and utilizing HIPAA-compliant health information systems.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Bachelor’s Degree as a Physician Assistant (PAs in OH must have completed 500 hours of post-graduate physician-supervised experience)
• 1 year of experience in healthcare
• Active license, AANP or ANCC certification and all necessary state credentials
• Board certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-C); or physician assistant (PA-C), where eligible
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and responsibilities
• ConfidentialityExcellent telephone, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent oral/written communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality medical care to patients while maintaining productivity metrics
• Participate in peer review, quality assurance, and staff meetings
• Ensure safety and quality-based healthcare environment
• Keep clinic open for scheduled hours
• Collaborate with regional management to promote TLC and increase clinic utilization
• Respond to guidance from regional management to improve patient experience
• Manage inventory and orders to control costs
• Perform quality control on instrumentation and CLIA waived testing
• Use company information systems in compliance with HIPAA
• Mentor and role model for staff
• Keep clinical knowledge current through ongoing education
• Provide coverage for clinics within the region as needed
• Control costs to meet profitability goals
• Maintain community presence through nursing organization membership and outreach
• Present neat appearance per dress code
• Participate in other duties as assigned
• If float: travel to designated clinics within geographic area
• Must be able to perform essential job functions with/without accommodation
