Job summary

Planned Parenthood North Central States is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide reproductive and sexual health care at our Minneapolis health center. The role offers flexible scheduling (FT/PT) across shifts, with hours that support a Monday–Sunday clinic operation and weekend rotation.

The position is hourly/non-exempt, with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care. The compensation ranges from $48 to $60 per hour, based on experience and qualification, and includes a comprehensive

Qualifications

Current active, unencumbered state license as a Registered Nurse.
Current active, unencumbered state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
National board-certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant.
DEA license or eligibility for hire.
Advanced degree (Master's) required.
BLS Certification for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

Obtain pertinent patient history and perform focused physical examinations.
Perform, order, and interpret screening and diagnostic tests; address abnormal findings.
Develop treatment plans and coordinate referrals as needed; prescribe medications.
Provide patient education regarding plan of care, preventive care, and health promotion.
Obtain informed consent where indicated; document interactions per protocol.
Collaborate with Health Center Manager to meet clinic goals and ensure efficient workflow.
Deliver patient-focused care and ensure HIPAA-compliant operations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of reproductive health care developments and CE requirements.
