Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for per diem float coverage across multiple clinics in New Jersey, including East Brunswick. You will provide evidence-based primary and family care with autonomous practice supported by a clinical team.

Role requires current NP licensure, board certification, BLS, and 1+ year in primary or urgent care. Flexible hours and on-site work are offered with holiday rotations as applicable.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Family Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current national board certification.
• State license to practice as Advanced Practice Nurse.
• At least one year of recent primary care, family medicine, or urgent care experience.
• BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based primary and family care with patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Coordinate comprehensive care plans with patients and other healthcare professionals.
• Manage routine examinations, health screenings, and chronic condition management.
• Support clinic operations including appointments, inventory, and cleanliness.
• Practice autonomously while collaborating with the clinical care team to improve outcomes.

Job Description Provide evidence-based primary and family care, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, health counseling, and disposition planning. Perform routine examinations, diagnostic testing, health screenings, and chronic condition management. Coordinate comprehensive care plans with patients and other healthcare professionals. Encourage patients to actively participate in their healthcare and wellness. Manage patient appointments, follow-up activities, clinic opening and closing, inventory, insurance verification, and environmental cleanliness. Practice autonomously while collaborating with the clinical care team to improve patient outcomes.

Critical Information

On-site, patient-facing role; float coverage may include clinics in Manalapan, Marlboro, East Brunswick, Brick, Somerset, and Hazlet. Variable schedule of 20-40 hours per week: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m.; Saturday, 9:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m.; Sunday, 9:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Every other weekend availability is required, with holiday rotations as applicable. Prior primary care or urgent care experience is required. Safety-sensitive position. BLS documentation and license documentation must accompany submission; BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association is required. Completed candidate questionnaire must accompany the resume, including licensure, standing, NPI, clinical experience, systems experience, availability, travel flexibility, and interview and start-date availability. DEA registration may be required during onboarding.
