NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for the Comprehensive Health Program in New York, NY. The NP will diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions, provide psychotherapy, and prescribe medications, with opportunities for clinical supervision of social workers and other clinicians.
Required: Master's in Advanced Nursing Practice, PMH-NP cert, NYS RN/FNP licensure, BLS, and at least 2 years NP experience.
Competenze
- Master’s degree in Advanced Nursing Practice is required.
- Board Certification in PMH-NP is required.
- Current NYS RN and FNP licensure is required.
- Current BLS through the AHA is required.
- Minimum of two years NP experience is required.
- Well versed in psychotherapy modalities is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Mansioni
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute illness and provide psychotherapy.
- Prescribe medications for acute and chronic illness; interpret labs and diagnostics.
- Provide clinical consultation and supervision to behavioral health clinicians and other team members.
