Job summary

AllHealth Network is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our behavioral health team on an as-needed basis in Colorado.

The role involves evaluation, assessment, and follow-up care for clients with mental health or substance use diagnoses, collaboration with staff, and coordinating with primary care for continuity of care. On-call coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited one-year internship.
• Graduate of an ACGME-accredited three-year psychiatric residency program.
• Proof of current Colorado medical license required.
• Must be eligible for Medicaid certification and insurance credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, assessment and follow-up appointments for clients with mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses.
• Responsible for both direct service to clients and consultation to clinical staff.
• Provide competent medical care to clients and complete associated documentation as required.
• Ensure established productivity standards for the position are met.
• Provide psychiatric assessment/evaluation of children, youth and/or adults with mental illness who are referred to AllHealth Network outpatient services.
• Provide consultation to staff regarding the medical problems and medications of clients.
• Coordinate with client's primary care physician to provide continuity of care.
• Evaluate and monitor client's medications, including side effects or adverse reactions.
• Assure comprehensive client education when initiating and/or monitoring medication; provide written educational materials.
• Provide consultation, education and coordination of services to community agencies and citizens as requested.
• Participate as an active member of the inter-disciplinary treatment team.

AllHealth Network is currently looking for qualified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team of behavioral health service professionals on an as needed basis. As a team we strive every day to nurture growth and recovery by caring for each other, our clients, and our future.

As needed - Weekday schedule

• must work 3 shifts per month

Pay Rate:

FNP: $70 an hour

PMHNP: $82 an hour

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the AllHealth Network salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, and the ability to embody the AllHealth Network mission and values. The range listed is just one component of AllHealth Networks' total compensation package for employees. Job Description:

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

• Responsible for the evaluation and/or referral of client's medical conditions; Coordinate with client's primary care physician to provide continuity of care
• Responsible for evaluating and monitoring client's medications, including any side effects or adverse reactions
• Assure comprehensive client education when initiating and/or monitoring medication; assess and document the client's level of comprehension. Whenever possible, provide the client with written educational materials
• Provide consultation, education and coordination of services to community agencies and citizens as requested
• May be asked to provide psychiatric coverage when other psychiatrists are absent and/or to provide on-call psychiatric services after hours
• Complete all required paperwork and documentation legibly, by established time frames, and to accepted standards of practice
• Participate as an active member of the inter-disciplinary treatment team
• Ensure established productivity standards for the position are met
• Perform other duties as required within the scope of the position and the experience, education and ability of the employee.

Qualifications:

AllHealth Network does not employ former or current clients or family members of clients receiving treatment at any AllHealth Network facilities

• Graduate of an accredited medical school
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited one-year internship
• Graduate of an ACGME-accredited three-year psychiatric residency program
• Proof of current Colorado medical license required
• Must be eligible for Medicaid certification and insurance credentialing

OR

• Master's Degree (MSN/MS)
• Licensed in the State of Colorado as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (APN)
• Minimum of 2+ years of related experience, preferably in a behavioral health setting.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience is strongly preferred
