Premise Health seeks a Nurse Practitioner for our Health Center in St. Charles, MO. This PRN, as-needed role supports health centers in St. Charles and O’Fallon with weekday 8-hour shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The candidate must hold and maintain an active NP license and prescriptive authority.

Responsibilities include exams, procedures, care planning, patient education, and coordination with physicians. DEA & state license requirements apply; competitive compensation for PRN scheduling.

Formación

• Must maintain state RN and NP licenses/certificates to practice.
• Must maintain State Prescriptive Authority where applicable.
• Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice).
• Current national certification (ANCC or AANP).
• Master’s Degree in Nursing; transcripts if degree not clearly nursing.
• BLS/ACLS certification as required by contract scope of services.

• Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care.

• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies.
• Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed.
• Maintains patient health records with accurate documentation and records.
• Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

As a PRN Nurse Practitioner, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in St. Charles, MO.

This is a PRN, as-needed position supporting our health centers in the St. Charles and O’Fallon locations.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, with no weekend requirements. We are seeking candidates who have availability to work 8-hour shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. based on the needs of the health centers.

What You’ll Bring

• Maintains state RN licenses/certificates to practice
• Maintains Nurse Practitioner licenses/certificates to practice
• Maintains State Prescriptive Authority (if applicable)
• Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable)
• Current national certification (ANCC or AANP required)
• Master’s Degree in Science of Nursing (if Master Degree in Science certificate does not state Nursing on it then a copy of transcripts is required)
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• At least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting
