Job summary

You will perform physical exams, order tests, interpret results, and prescribe medications while adhering to legal and ethical standards in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Board certified as a nurse practitioner with current state licensure.
• DEA license with no restrictions.
• Skilled in traditional nursing disciplines of patient assessment and management.
• Clinical experience in an emergency, urgent care or ambulatory clinic setting.
• BLS certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary and episodic care to patients, independently and with other medical professionals.
• Maintain patient flow and maximize delivery of quality care.
• Follow protocols and regulations for prescribing medications.
• Order and interpret tests and procedures to guide care in collaboration with supervising physician.
• Document differential diagnoses and clinical plans.
