Job summary

Ultipro in Austin, TX seeks a Nurse Practitioner to provide primary and episodic care to patients, independently and with the medical team, following protocols set by the Chief Medical Officer. You will help maintain patient flow and deliver high-quality care, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention through patient education.

This role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, board certification as an NP with current state licensure, a DEA license, and BLS

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Board certified as a nurse practitioner with current state licensure and DEA license.
• Experience in emergency, urgent care or ambulatory clinic settings.
• BLS certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary and episodic care to patients in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Perform complete physical exams and assessments for urgent and non-urgent visits.
• Order tests and procedures to augment findings and guide treatment.
• Diagnose and document differential diagnoses with most likely and plan for action.
• Prescribe dosages and educate patients on correct usage of medications.
• Maintain infection control standards and patient safety throughout care delivery.
